Super Duplex Steel Hydraulic Fittings consist of a well-balanced combination of chromium (24–26%), nickel (6–8%), molybdenum (3–5%), and nitrogen, which lends it outstanding corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. These fittings have high tensile strength (~750 MPa), yield strength (~550 MPa), and good impact toughness. Their two-phase microstructure takes advantage of the properties of both austenitic and ferritic steels, providing better pitting resistance, crevice corrosion resistance, and stress corrosion cracking resistance.
