Super Duplex Manifold Valves usually consist of a balanced combination of austenite and ferrite phases with around 24–26% chromium, 6–8% nickel, 3–5% molybdenum, and addition of nitrogen. This composition provides enhanced corrosion resistance, particularly against pitting and stress corrosion cracking. Mechanically, Super Duplex alloys have high tensile strength (700–900 MPa), good yield strength (≥450 MPa), and ductility and impact toughness. These characteristics provide reliable performance under high pressure and temperature conditions and hence are suitable for high-pressure and high-temperature critical and corrosive fluid system applications.
