Titanium Gr 5 Needle Valve, which is fabricated using Ti-6Al-4V alloy, contains about 90% titanium, 6% aluminum, and 4% vanadium. This composition gives the best combination of strength and corrosion resistance. Mechanically, it has 895 MPa (130 ksi) tensile strength, 828 MPa (120 ksi) yield strength, and an elongation of approximately 10%. With a hardness level of approximately 36 HRC, it is remarkable at high-pressure applications. It has a density of 4.43 g/cm³, which is remarkably lower than steel but not in terms of structural resistance at the highest levels.
