Incoloy 825 is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy with additions of copper, molybdenum, and titanium. It generally consists of 38-46% nickel, 19.5-23.5% iron, 19.5-23.5% chromium, 2.5-3.5% molybdenum, 1.5-3.0% copper, and 0.6-1.2% titanium. This alloy provides superior resistance to oxidizing and reducing conditions. Mechanically, Incoloy 825 possesses tensile strength of about 585 MPa and yield strength of about 220 MPa, with excellent elongation and impact strength. Its superior strength and superior corrosion resistance make it perfect for extreme environments containing acids, salts, and chlorides.
