Stainless Steel 321 Needle Valves consist mainly of iron, chromium (17–19%), nickel (9–12%), and titanium (0.3–0.8%), which increases stability against carbide precipitation. It also consists of trace elements such as manganese, silicon, phosphorus, and sulfur. SS 321 is mechanically very durable with a tensile strength of about 75 ksi (515 MPa), yield strength of about 30 ksi (205 MPa), and good elongation characteristics. It has good high-temperature resistance and creep strength, which is ideal for constant exposure in high-temperature conditions, offering reliable performance under thermal and mechanical stresses.
