Super Duplex Stainless Steel Instrumentation Valves consist of about 25% chromium, 7% nickel, 4% molybdenum, and trace levels of nitrogen and manganese, providing increased strength and better corrosion resistance. These valves have great mechanical properties with a tensile strength of approximately 800 MPa and yield strength of about 550 MPa. They are also ductile and tough even at low temperatures. The ferritic-austenitic microstructure gives them outstanding resistance to stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion and are suitable for aggressive and high-pressure fluid systems.
