Stainless Steel 316Ti is a titanium-stabilized grade of 316 stainless steel with improved resistance against intergranular corrosion. Its composition is typically 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and with minor additions of titanium (0.5%). This alloy has superior mechanical strength with tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of 35%. It has stability at high temperatures and shows superior creep resistance and is ideal for valve applications under high pressure and high temperature such as the 316Ti Ball Valve.
